The number you have heard is not the number anyone measured
If you run a Las Vegas restaurant, someone has told you that one diner in five books a table and never shows up. That figure comes from surveys where people admit to past behavior. The Resos No-Show Index 2026 measured something else entirely: 3,768,761 real reservations at 2,417 restaurants, from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026. The recorded no-show rate was 2.33 percent.
